There’s certainly nothing evil about Charlize Theron’s sheer dress. Kristen’s, not so sure

Charlize Theron turns up to the London premiere of Snow White wearing a sexy see through dress

Charlize does a bit of bewitching with her eyes

She plays the evil queen in Snow White and the Huntsman and although she had a black dress on, like what we’d imagine evil queens wear, there was nothing nasty about Charlize tonight as she arrived at the premiere of her latest film.

Wearing a floor length number, Charlize swanned into London’s Leicester Square with her lovely long legs on display through the sheer material and almost showing a bit of boob too.

Sexy and evil - Charlize ticks all boxes

We’ve studied these pictures quite hard and are pretty sure her modesty is being protected by some flesh coloured material under there – unfortunately.

Kristen Stewart also stars in the movie as Snow White and Charlize told Celebuzz she thinks she’s got a great future ahead of her: “I think that she is going to have an amazing career,” she said.

“I think, as an actor, she’s doing it, because she really loves her job and she is really good at it. My experience has been, if your reasons for doing this is authentic as that and you have the tenacity and guts that she has, then I think you have the right personality for this job. I think she has that.”

Nothing evil about her at all.

Summer Essentials

From Vanity Fair Fashion Dept.
By Michael Carl

As I put away my winter sweaters and pulled out my shorts and summer tees earlier this week, I thought to myself, “This is going to be the best summer ever.” I was preparing to go on a camping trip to a destination with no cell-phone service, so naturally I didn’t say this aloud to any of my friends. I have seen enough horror movies to know that can only end badly.

It’s not often that I think like this, but something is in the air this year and I can feel it in my bones. So bring it on—the sun, the waves, the beach, the drinks by the pool, and the decadent meals that last too long into the night. I am ready for it all! Here are some seasonal essentials to help you dress the part and make the most of what is destined to be the best summer ever. (I know, I am also a little confused at my newfound optimism. Just roll with it; I am.)

1/21

A Chambray Shirt. I don’t know when or how it happened, but suddenly a chambray shirt became a summer essential. It is now totally fine to wear it with jeans as well as with any other kind of pant. This J.Crew chambray shirt is the best one I’ve found; it looks great with the sleeves rolled up for the beach, tucked in your khakis for a casual day look, and with a suit (my personal favorite).

2/22

Swim Shorts. If you don’t own a bright-colored swimsuit this summer, you might as well not even go to the beach. I recently fell in love with this swimsuit line called Onia. You can get the trunks in three lengths, depending on how comfortable you are with your legs or how appropriate they are for whatever beach you are on. What fits in on the beaches of Far Rockaway may not be just right for, say, Fire Island. Bonus: if you have a son, they come in matching kids’ sizes. I am getting one for my godson and stealing him away for the weekend, to give Mom and Dad a “break” while I complete my evil plan to become the world’s coolest uncle.

Boat Shoes. I have been trumpeting boat shoes since I started writing Carl’s Crush, and I think they are going to be huge again this summer. So huge, in fact, that I think you need to find a pair that has something a little special so you can stand out from the crowd. These multicolored deck shoes from Lanvin will be suitably unique, plus they’re Lanvin.

Nike Basketball Elite Series

The NBA playoffs start Saturday, and Nike is ready with the Elite Series, three updated signature hoops shoes—the LeBron 9 ($250), Nike Kobe VII ($200) and Nike Zoom Hyperdunk ($200)—that take both your game and your style to the next level. We got a sneak peek at all three in the backroom of a Nike showcase, and thanks to high-tech materials (Kevlar, carbon fiber) and high-end construction, they look ready to fly. But don’t take our word for it. We also spoke to the designers behind them.

“The premise behind the Elite Series was to take our existing best of the best product and make it even better,” says Leo Chang, design director for Nike Basketball Footwear. “Using the best technologies for the best performance when it matters most—getting that championship trophy.”

A few cool features that all three shoes share: home and away colors (white and black). Carbon fiber-infused shanks and heel counters to keep them light and responsive. Nike Pro Combat inspired padded collar protection for support and a no-slip sock liner for internal traction. Ultra-high tensile strength Flywire (those gold wires you see in the Hyperdunk, above) for the ultimate combination of low weight and high durability. And while you can pick up the gold Swoosh version this weekend, the players themselves only move from a white Swoosh to a gold one if their team makes the NBA Finals.

So, which shoe is for you? “Always get the LeBrons,” jokes Jason Petrie, the designer behind, yes, the Lebrons. “I would look at what your game is like. You know, Lebron is really all about strength, so his shoe is better for a bigger, stronger guy. Whereas the Hyperdunk is all about lightweight performance, it’s kind of that weapon anybody can go to. And the Kobe is about that dynamic ride, that super light, low, soccer-esque silhouette.” Add to your arsenal the day the playoffs begin at store.nike.com.

Legs for days!

Miley Cyrus showed off her long and lean stems — sculpted by her daily Pilates sessions — on Twitter Monday.

“As you can see I have a very busy Monday ;)” the 19-year-old posted along with a pic of her bottom half dressed in blue lingerie with black lace trim.

PHOTOS: Miley Cyrus’ wildest moments

As she kicked back in her sexy pajamas, Cyrus had a roaring fire blazing; no word if her hunky boyfriend, The Hunger Games’ Liam Hemsworth, was close by.

The singer has been proudly showing off the results of her frequent workout sessions — and controversial gluten-free diet — by flaunting her abs in midriff-baring tops and her legs in short rompers.

On April 11, her revealing outfit took a PG-13 turn when she went braless in a loose-fitting Iron Maiden shirt, flashing the side of her breast to onlookers while browsing through choices at a clothes boutique.

Tyra Banks has one photo in her hand . . . and none of them belong to America’s Next Top Model’s Nigel Barker, J. Alexander or Jay Manuel.

Host and producer Banks, 38, has fired her panel of experts, The New York Post’s Page Six reported Friday. They were reportedly informed Thursday morning that their contracts would not be renewed for Cycle 18.

Banks later confirmed that photographer Barker, 39, runway coach Alexander, 53, and creative director Manuel, 39, will be leaving America’s Next Top Model via her official Facebook page.

“To my Nigel Barker, Miss J, and Mr Jay: Thank you for all of our years together on America’s Next Top Model,” Banks wrote. “Working with you is always an absolute pleasure. Excited for what the future holds for us.”

Barker, Alexander and Manuel have been with America’s Next Top Model since its inception in 2003. Previous judges include Janice Dickinson, Kimora Lee Simmons, Twiggy, Paulina Porizkova, Andre Leon Talley, Beau Quillian, Eric Nicholson and Nole Marin. As of Friday, judge Kelly Cutrone is expected to return for Cycle 18.

In a statement, executive producers Bank and Ken Mok tell Us Weekly: “Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander have been an integral part of the America’s Next Top Model brand and they helped turn this show into the household name it is today. They have been amazing assets to the show and will always be a part of the Top Model family. We will continue to actively work with each of them on future projects.”

Prada’s New Shoes Are Hot Rods for Feet

By Lauren Torrisi @Laurentorrisi

Shoes can propel any look from boring to bold, especially when they have flames shooting off of the back.

Prada’s latest shoes are inspired from the American tail fin era of the 1950s, when bright colors and souped up cars were all the rage.

The flames, shooting out the back of the shoes, resemble the tailpipe of a Cadillac. The bold design of the shoes mimics the chrome metal work of the car. The shoes, which range in price from $900 to $1,500, are quickly selling out of stores. For those hoping to snag a pair, they can find them online in most sizes.

SLIDESHOW: Prada’s Hot Rod Shoes Collection

“Women and Cars” is the theme for Miuccia Prada’s latest spring/summer 2012 collection featuring the shoes and other vintage-inspired clothing. The campaign images were shot by Steven Meisel, featuring the models atop vintage cars set at a 50′s-style American gas station.

The Top 10 Male Celeb Clothing Lines

You’ve watched them do a variety of things—perform sports feats, drop beats, put butts in seats. But there’s one thing that unites the guys on this list: they’ve all got fashion sense. And when you’re an independently famous icon, there’s a whole market of men who want to wear your clothes. So from Sean John (Diddy) and Edun (Bono) to Livestrong (Lance) and JK Livin (McConaughey), here are the top 10 male celeb clothing lines. And where to get them, of course.

SEAN JOHN
Famous founder: Sean John Combs (a.k.a. Diddy), rapper, 1998
Target market: Homeboys who crave Los Angeles glamor at a Macy’s price point
Highlights: Tailored suits, lightweight cardigans and the color purple
Reception: Council of Fashion Designers of America award (2004)
Price range: $30 to $275
Bottom line: Diddy once explained his decision to drop the “P” from his name because it was “getting in between me and my fans.” Here’s something else that does that, too.

Lana Del Rey And Jaime King’s Vintage Fashion Photoshoot

Lana Del Rey and Jaime King have a vintage photoshoot.

Lana Del Rey and Jaime King have a vintage photoshoot.

If we were best friends with Lana Del Rey and Jaime King we’d have no jealous qualms about photographing their every move. I mean, HAI, these ladies are both soooo pretty and sweet and really good at working some vintage-inspired ensembles. Lana joined the Hart of Dixie actress for a sit-down dinner in honor of Jaime’s birthday (coming up on April 23). Lana was part of a small, star-studded group of Jaime’s closest friends, but the only attendee to star alongside the birthday girl in a chic retro fashion photoshoot.

Lana suited up in a flattering navy frock with a flirty cut-out back panel and accessorized with a bold floral headkerchief. Jaime looked glamorous in a feminine pastel printed dress with a fur stole slung over her shoulders. Her hair was pulled back into parted ponytail with a subtle headband, and both ladies looked fresh-faced in minimal makeup. The shoot was backdropped with a palm tree-lined private residence in Beverly Hills and an immaculate 1981 Mercedes convertible. It’s pretty much the cutest thing we’ve ever seen. Invite us next time? Kthx.
