Simply sizzling! Kim Kardashian heats up the Mexican beach in an eye-catching orange bikini

She is famous for her curvy figure, and Kim Kardashian ensured she showed it off to the maximum on a recent holiday to Mexico.

The 31-year-old star sported an eye-catching halterneck orange bikini as she hit the beach with older sister Kourtney and her two-year-old nephew Mason.

But Kim was not content to just spend the day sunbathing – instead trying her hand at bodyboarding in the warm ocean.

And she certainly seemed to be taking to the sport like a duck to water, laughing as she cruised in to shore on her bright yellow boogie board.

The star also let her hair down for a stroll down the beach, and looked pensive as she shielded her eyes from the sun.

Kim was clearly enjoying spending time with nephew Mason, carrying the smiling little boy as she splashed around in the water.

At one point, she and Kourtney swung delighted little Mason up and down as they walked down the near-deserted beach, before heading back to their private villa.

He was dressed in black swimming trunks and a black hat with orange detail which matched his auntie Kim’s swimming costume.

Mother Kourtney meanwhile, dressed her growing baby bump in a black swimsuit and sheer patterned wrap.

She kept herself protected from the sun in a straw coloured hat with black ribbon.

The sisters were in Mexico to celebrate Kourtney’s 33rd birthday, but were without Mason’s father Scott.

However, the sisters were joined by Kim’s friends Robin Antin and Carla DiBello, who also tried their hands at bodyboarding.

How about some of these spas for a relaxing break?

Not much good if you have vertigo – admittedly, but once the nausea subsides, you can chill by the pool in your robe, or get a massage as you watch the world go by beneath you.

The Top 10 spas with a spectacular views have been compiled by German building information specialists, Emporis, with the Ritz-Carlton Spa by ESPA in Hong Kong (above) topping the list.

Located inside the 465-meter tall International Commerce Centre, the spa is part of the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong and includes an indoor swimming pool with panoramic views over Victoria Harbour from 116 floors above the ground.

The Top 10 were chosen from over 400 spas in cities around the world, and were rated on factors such as the spa’s height, view, location, architectural features and interior design.

According to Emporis, the last decade has seen an increasing number of luxury hotel spas opening at spectacular heights, as they try to offer visitors a “contemporary and holistic oasis” in busy city centres.

Asian megacities dominate the Top 10 as their dramatic skylines and bustling business centres provide a steady stream of weary working travellers looking to relax with the backdrop of a breathtaking view.

Coming in second place on the list was the the Banyan Tree Spa in Singapore, set atop the 207-meter Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. It attracts visitors with its stunning infinity pool that overlooks Singapore’s skyscrapers.

Flying the Dream: aboard Boeing’s brand new ‘jet lag-busting’ 787 Dreamliner

Nigel Thompson joins a demo flight aboard the Boeing’s revolutionary aircraft, which can fly 9,400 miles in one go

Thomson and First Choice will be the first UK airlines to take delivery of the Dreamliner in May 2013

Thomson and First Choice will be the first UK airlines to take delivery of the Dreamliner in May 2013

Manchester United’s iconic Old Trafford football stadium is called the Theatre of Dreams.

So it seemed highly appropriate that I got a glimpse of the Red Devils’ home from a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on a 500ft wing-waggling flypast at the city’s airport this week.

This revolutionary new “greener”, “jet lag-busting” passenger plane is seen as the greatest advance in aviation since Concorde and this week was on the UK leg of a world tour, which took in Heathrow, Manchester and Gatwick airports.

I joined the Boeing crew and a team from Thomson Airways – which will be the first in Britain to take delivery of a 787 – at Manchester for a plane tour and two-hour test flight.

It’s a very fine looking jet with elegant, sweeping lines and distinctive flexible wings which rise up to 10ft at the tips on take-off, though it’s perhaps not as awesome close up as the mighty Airbus A380 double decker superjumbo.

But it’s inside that’s going to impress Thomson and First Choice passengers from May 2013 – swiftly followed by fliers travelling with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic.

Holidaymakers heading from Manchester, Gatwick, East Midlands and Glasgow to Cancun, Mexico, and Sanford, Florida, on Thomson Airways will have the first opportunity to fly on the new jets.

It will offer travellers noticeable improvements, including:

● Moister air for less chance of dehydration and headaches;
● Cleaner air that’s had irritants such as perfume and alcohol removed;
● Lower cabin pressure, which is less tiring;
● Bigger windows and dynamic LED lighting;
● Wider aisles and higher ceilings; and
● A smoother, quieter journey.

While you can hardly avoid your body being say five times zones adrift from UK time if you’re in Florida, these are all factors which should combine to help to alleviate the effects of jetlag when you get off the plane.

The Dreamliner is made largely of carbon/polymer resin and consequently is lighter than similar sized aircraft and uses 20% less fuel, hence its “green” tag.

It also offers a tremendous range, up to 9,400 miles, which brings the realistic and tantalising prospect of direct flights to destinations such as Bali, Hawaii and even Perth.

You read that right – Australia in one go. Amazing.

Kanye West To Propose Marriage To Kim Kardashian While On Caribbean Holiday?

Kim Kardashian might very well return from her romantic getaway with Kanye West engaged to be married. Is Kanye planning to propose to Kim on their upcoming Caribbean vacation? Is that why Kanye has spent almost $50,000 on the vacation which includes a private bungalow at the exclusive Soufriere Resort in St Lucia? Will he be taking a hot engagement ring along with him on the trip?
According to The Sun Kanye is planning to take his new girlfriend Kim off to enjoy a $48,000 luxury Caribbean holiday together. The ‘Gold Digger’ rapper has hired a private bungalow at the exclusive Soufriere resort in of St Lucia, which comes complete with a private masseur and chef and a five-man security team.
A source told The Sun: “Kanye knows Kim is used to staying in luxury but wanted to top everything she’s experienced,” adding that “money is no object, he wants the best of everything.” According to the source “Kanye’s planning some romantic evenings and is relying on his chef to knock out some amazing seafood dishes to get them in the mood.”

Hollywood Hiccups Reports: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Hollywood’s newest power couple, are planning a romantic vacation getaway. This is the logical first step for any Hollywood couple: go to a far off, exotic place where they can stare longingly into the eyes of one another. Of course, the step that often time follows is the BREAK UP . . . but perhaps KIMye will stay strong.
What do you think? Both love attention. Both are slightly annoying. Perhaps they’re a match made by Cupid’s bow?
The couple are planning to travel to St. Lucia. Kanye has allegedly gone all out for his new woman, getting them both a room at an exclusive resort, complete with a private chef. How many of you think KIMye has ALREADY arranged for a beach photoshoot?

Could this be Kim’s chance to become a married woman once more? Does Kanye really want to be a reality TV star? Kris Jenner is all in favor of Kim’s new love interest although her step-dad Bruce Jenner is less pleased. What about you? Do you anticipate a bright future for the couple? Let us know in the comments below.

|| Movie Review || The Cabin in the Woods

||The Cabin in the Woods||
Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Fran Kranz
Directed by Drew Goddard

By PETER TRAVERS
APRIL 12, 2012

If it’s true that you always kill the thing you love, then horror honchos Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard have taken an ax to slasher cinema in The Cabin in the Woods and chopped it up for kindling. With love, mind you, and a potently playful sense of mischief. Cabin is a deliciously devious scare dance that keeps changing the steps until you lose your shit and fall helplessly into its demonic traps. Screenwriters Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Goddard (Cloverfield), in his feature-directing debut, are fright-obsessed. They’re also pissed seeing terror morph into torture porn that drowns the human element in buckets of blood.

Don’t get me wrong. The Cabin in the Woods is far from a “say no to gore” sermon. It’s fiendishly funny. Can you laugh and shriek at the same time? Yeah, baby. Scream proved that back in 1996. But Cabin goes deeper than a self-reflexive game of name-checking gorefests from Evil Dead to Halloween. Every cliché Cabin pitches is likely to come back and bite you in the ass. Take the setup: Five college kids climb into an RV and head for the last cabin on the left near a Friday the 13th-ish lake where fantasies of rocking sex and drugs turn into the biggest nightmare this side of Elm Street. At first, the characters seem cardboard-thin: Chris Hemsworth (Thor) as Curt the jock, Anna Hutchison as Jules the slut, Kristen Connolly as Dana (her virginal opposite), Jesse Williams as Holden the nerd and Fran Kranz as Marty the stoner. Then they go in the basement, where monstrous challenges await them.

Say what? You heard me. Whedon and Goddard tip us off early that something is up by introducing Sitterson (Richard Jenkins) and Hadley (Bradley Whitford), techies who seem to be running a rogue surveillance op. Forgive my vagueness. But spoilers are a bitch. You unlock this cabin door with the key of imagination, and the next stop is a newfangled Twilight Zone. Just fly with it, especially since Jenkins and Whitford are the go-to dudes for a blissed-out blend of mirth and malice.

Props to the cast for going beyond the call of bloodbath duty. Connolly is a standout, bringing emotional nuance to her role even as the filmmakers bombard her with everything from zombies to a killer unicorn. And Kranz, now on Broadway in Death of a Salesman, is comic dynamite as the pothead. You haven’t lived until you see him use a bong as a weapon of mass destruction.

Cabin keeps springing scary surprises. And it’s wicked, twisted fun until the violence starts nagging at you. The gods and monsters of the movie never question their appetite for gutting pretty young things. But you’ll question yours for sure before the film’s shocking end. Ironically, Cabin was made in 2009 but got stuck in studio limbo when MGM declared bankruptcy. Now Lionsgate has let the beast out. Punishment is its own reward, especially at the box office. But Whedon and Goddard are hunting bigger game. By turning splatter formula on its empty head, Cabin shows you can unleash a fire-breathing horror film without leaving your brain or your heart on the killing floor.

||Photo|| The Maldives are a perfect destination whether your dream beach trip consists of spending a few pampered nights in a four-star resort or swimming among tropical fish some 80 feet underwater.

From the National Geographic book The 10 Best of Everything

1-Seychelles
www.seychelles.com
One of the most photographed beaches in the world, the pale pink sands of Anse Source d’Argent unfurls across the island of La Digue, one of the 115 components of this archipelago in the Indian Ocean. The sands sparkle against a backdrop of towering granite boulders, worn by time and weather. The turquoise water is relatively shallow and protected from the ocean’s waves by a reef.

2-Maldives
www.visitmaldives.com
Whether your dream beach trip consists of spending a few pampered nights in a four-star resort or swimming among tropical fish some 80 feet (24 meters) underwater, the Maldives are the sort of islands where either—or both—can come true. Straddling the equator southwest of Sri Lanka, the 1,102 islands that make up the Maldives form 26 atolls. The soft air enveloping the archipelago blends into a beautiful palm-fringed haze.

3-Bora Bora, Tahiti
www.boraboraisland.com
This is one of the magical islands that make up French Polynesia in the South Pacific. Just 18 miles (29 kilometers) long, this lush little slip of land lies in a protected lagoon edged by white sandy shores, the best being at Matira Point. Bora Bora boasts the nickname the “Romantic Island,” a moniker easy to appreciate with its isolated beaches, intimate hotels, and quiet atmosphere.

4-The Hamptons, New York
www.hamptons.com
One of the hip spots for the air-kissing, well-heeled set, the Hamptons boast some of the prettiest beaches on Long Island. The unspoiled shoreline begins around Southampton and runs east to the end of the island at Montauk. Windswept dunes and waving grasses border the Atlantic Ocean.

5-Lanikai Beach, Hawaii
www.hawaii.com
Half a mile of sparkling sand, palm trees swaying over a white beach, lush tropical plants, and endless sunshine make Lanikai one of Hawaii’s most scenic beaches. The shore is protected by a nearby coral reef, which keeps the surf relatively calm. The water is always deep green and postcard-perfect.
